Our project

The future of American aluminum starts here

Oklahoma Primary Aluminum will build the first new primary aluminum production facility in the United States since 1980, right here in the Sooner State. This landmark project, poised to help drive America’s industrial revival, will be located at the Tulsa Port of Inola in Rogers County.

The facility will produce up to 750,000 metric tons of aluminum each year, doubling domestic U.S. production of a material that makes modern life possible. Aluminum made in Oklahoma will support critical American industries including aerospace, automotive, construction, energy, and defense. Oklahoma Primary Aluminum will strengthen American manufacturing by helping keep supply chains of this critical mineral closer to home.

Oklahoma Primary Aluminum will create 1,000 direct jobs at the facility and thousands more in construction, logistics, supply chain, and new manufacturing businesses that will grow around it. The project will make Inola a hub for advanced manufacturing and a key contributor to America’s industrial renewal.

We are honored to join the Oklahoma community and are committed to partnering with local schools, workforce programs, and civic organizations to create opportunity, enhance infrastructure, and advance shared prosperity.

Oklahoma Primary Aluminum is a transformational multi-billion dollar investment, and a catalyst for economic activity in the Sooner State.

As the first new U.S. primary aluminum plant in over 40 years, Oklahoma Primary Aluminum will help revive domestic production capacity and strengthen national supply chain independence.

The project will deliver long-term economic impact, contributing an estimated $1.3 billion in state and local tax revenue over 30 years and will support thousands of jobs across manufacturing, logistics, and regional supply chains.

Using EGA’s next-generation reduction technology, the facility will produce more aluminum with less energy, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and sustainability in the U.S. aluminum industry.
